NOC: 82030
EMPLOYMENT TERMS: Full Time - Permanent
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Supervise and coordinate the activities of farm workers engaged in livestock care and feeding.
2. Oversee feeding programs, health monitoring, and general livestock care.
3. Monitor goat milk production, milking procedures, and quality control.
4. Manage cattle backgrounding activities, including nutrition and weight gain tracking.
5. Detect illness or injury and coordinate treatment or veterinary care.
6. Ensure proper operation and maintenance of milking equipment, feeding systems, barns, and pens.
7. Train and supervise farm workers; assign daily tasks and ensure safety compliance.
8. Monitor feed inventory and order supplies as needed.
9. Maintain farm equipment, barns, pens, and milking systems.
10. Maintain production, health, and inventory records.
11. Ensure compliance with biosecurity, animal welfare, and health regulations.
12. Perform general farm duties.
WORKING HOURS: Minimum 8 hours/day, 40 hours/week; schedule may vary depending on operational requirement or season; 2 varied days off per week
WAGE: $19.44/hour
EMPLOYMENT REQUIREMENTS:
1. Education: No formal education is required.
2. Work Experience: At least 2 years agricultural experience in handling livestock is required
