We are hiring 02, Farm Supervisors
Terms of Employment : Permanent, Full Time, Overtime, Day , Evening, Weekend
Wage Rate : $21.00 per hour for 40.00 hours per week.
Start Date : As soon as possible
Work Location: 17308 279 Road, Fort St John, BC V0C 2R0
Job Duties:
Determine number of workers needed to perform required work.
Schedules and supervise work activities.
Requisition and purchase of farm supplies
Evaluate weather and soil conditions to develop, revise plans and procedures.
Prepare reports, such as worker progress & product quality reports, etc.
Train and guide workers.
Inspect crops and fields to determine maturity, yield, and work requirements, such as cultivating, weeding, or harvesting.
May perform other general farm duties.
Requirements are as follows:
Education: High school an asset.
Experience: 1- 2 years of relevant experience.
Language: Basic knowledge of English.
Benefits: Accommodation will be provided at $30/week. Relocation expenses & medical insurance for first 3 months covered by employer, if required.
Work Site Environment: Outdoors, wet/damp/rain, hot/cold.
Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Repetitive tasks, standing for extended periods, bending, crouching and kneeling
