is in need of Farm Supervisor (Dairy)
NOC: 82030
EMPLOYMENT TERMS: Full Time - Permanent
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Manage staff workloads including prioritizing and distributing of duties.
2. Operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment.
3. Oversee and participate in the preparation and execution of the milking process.
4. Oversee and participate in the cleaning and sanitization of equipment and facilities
5. Monitor, recognize and treat livestock health problems
6. Ensure dairy farm activities comply with government regulations.
7. Perform other general farm duties as assigned
WORKING HOURS: 8 hours/day, 40 hours/week; shift work between 4:30AM–7:00PM, working hours may vary depending on stage of production; 2 varied days off per week
WAGE/BENEFITS: $23/hour; Extended Medical insurance, dental insurance, and vision care after 3 months of continuous employment
EMPLOYMENT REQUIREMENTS:
1. Education: Completion of secondary school is required.
2. Work Experience: At least one year of supervisory experience on a dairy farm is required.
