is in need of Farm Supervisor (Cattle)
NOC: 82030
EMPLOYMENT TERMS: Full Time - Permanent
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Supervise and coordinate the activities of general labourers, including breeding, feeding livestock and maintaining farm infrastructure such as fences, pens, and buildings.
2. Oversee herd health, including monitoring, moving, and arranging treatment for beef cattle as needed.
3. Participate in daily ranch operations to support overall farm productivity.
4. Provide leadership and direction to staff in accordance with company policies, procedures, and standard operating practices.
5. Ensure compliance with farm safety and biosecurity protocols, promoting a safe working environment.
6. Operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment, including tractors and other agricultural equipment.
7. Maintain and repair farm structures, including fences and enclosures.
8. Keep accurate work records, logs, and production and quality control documentation.
9. Perform other related farm duties as required.
WORKING HOURS: 8 hours/day, 40 hours/week; normal workday shall begin 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM; working hours may vary depending on operational requirement; 1-2 varied days off per week
WAGE: $20.00/hour
EMPLOYMENT REQUIREMENTS:
1. Education: No formal education is required
2. Work Experience: Minimum of 1 year of hands-on experience in cattle handling and livestock management is required.
