Job Description:
KPB Gills Four Seasons Nursery Ltd is looking for full-time and permanent 2 Farm Supervisors at Abbotsford, BC, V4X 2M3. (Even though this is a full-time position we encourage part time job seekers to apply as well). Salary is $23.00/hr and 30-40 hours/week.
Job Description:
• Develop and implement plans to set priorities and meet work objectives.
• Organize and assign tasks to ensure timely completion of farm operations.
• Supervise field clearing activities and monitor hoeing processes.
• Instruct farm workers on proper seed cutting techniques.
• Keep accurate financial, production, and quality control records.
• Negotiate service contracts and maintain client relations.
• Coordinate and oversee the work of farm workers and harvest laborers.
• Manage and supervise crop production and related farming activities.
• Maintain detailed logs and work records.
• Recruit, train, and supervise farm staff.
• Operate, monitor, and maintain farming machinery and equipment.
• Carry out general farm maintenance and duties as required.
Education
• Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
