Farm Equipment Operator Job

Foggy Mountain Farms Ltd. is a a well-established cow-calf farming operation located in Mountain Road, Manitoba. It has created this permanent full time position for five [5] farm equipment operators to support its continued operational growth.

Start date: As soon as possible

Languages: English

Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or or equivalent experience

Experience: 1 to less than 7 months

On site: Work must be completed at the farm location. There is no option to work remotely.

Working hours: 35 to 60+ hours per week

Work site environment: Beef cattle ranching and farming, including feedlots

Work setting: Rural remote area

Willing to relocate

Tasks
- Clean the crops
- Clear and collect brush and debris from fields, pens and other work areas
- Clear fields of wood and stones
- Fertilize and spray crops
- Harvest crops
- Operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment
- Ensure farm safety and bio-security procedures are followed
- Perform general farm duties
- Maintain farm machinery, equipment and buildings
