Job Summary
Sullivan Medical Clinic is seeking dedicated and qualified Family Physicians to join our collaborative and patient-focused medical team. As a Family Physician, you will be responsible for diagnosing and treating a wide range of illnesses and injuries, offering preventive care, and managing chronic conditions. You will play a crucial role in providing ongoing care, promoting health education, and supporting the overall well-being of individuals and families within our community.

Salary & Hours
Annual Salary: $200,000–$300,000 (Negotiable)

Hours per week: 40 to 51.8

Schedule: Day shifts, flexible hours, and morning availability

Job Requirements:
Responsibilities
1. Conduct physical examinations and assess patient health conditions

2. Collect medical histories from patients and other sources

3. Order and interpret laboratory tests, imaging, and other diagnostic procedures

4. Prescribe and administer appropriate medications and treatments

5. Provide acute and chronic care management

6. Inoculate and vaccinate patients against diseases

7. Offer health counseling and education to patients and families

8. Perform minor surgical procedures

9. Refer patients to medical specialists or other healthcare providers when necessary

10. Supervise medical support staff and maintain patient records

11. Utilize electronic medical record (EMR) systems and telemedicine tools

Qualifications
Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree or equivalent

Completion of a residency training program in Family Medicine

Licensed (or eligible for licensure) by the College of Physicians and Surgeons of British Columbia

Certification from the College of Family Physicians of Canada (CCFP)

Licentiate of the Medical Council of Canada (LMCC)

Experience
2 to less than 3 years of relevant clinical experience

Work Environment
On-site role (no remote work option)
