Family Physician Job

One Medical is seeking one Family Physician in Calgary, Alberta.

Job Type: Permanent, Full-time
Hours: 36-40 hours per week
Location: Calgary, Alberta
Salary: Fee for service $300,000 (estimated)
Anticipated Start Date: January 1, 2026

Duties:
• Provide health care services in a competent, conscientious, and professional manner;
• Create patient-specific health programs that make use of historical data;
• Monitor and adapt individualized health programs over time;
• Provide comprehensive wellness examinations, take patients histories, order laboratory tests, X-rays and other diagnostic procedures;
• Prescribe and administer medications and treatments;
• Schedule and administer follow-up examination;
• Refer patients to other providers for specialized treatment;
• Coordinate care with other medical professionals;
• Care for the whole patient, including mental and emotional concerns;
• Build long-term relationships with patients;
• Advise patients in health management and disease prevention;
• Consult with the team as needed, attend meetings as requested.

Requirement:
• A medical degree from an approved faculty of medicine listed in the World Directory of Medical Schools – with a Canada Note, is required;
• Must hold or be eligible for licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Alberta (CPSA);
• Must be a member in good standing with the College of Family Physicians of Canada (CFPC) and the Canadian Medical Protective Association (CMPA), or an equivalent professional liability insurance plan;
• 2-3 years of family medicine residency training are required;
• Certification required: MRCGP, MICGP, FRACGP, FACRRM, CCFP, or DABFM;
• Proficiency of English language is required (IELTS Academic 8.0 band overall).
