Family Physician Job

Saddleridge Medical Clinic Inc. is a family practice clinic looking for one Family Physician to join their team immediately as associates. Clinic is located at 600 Saddletowne Circle NE suite 113 Calgary, Alberta T3J 5M1

Wages: $250,000.00-$450,000.00 annually (to be negotiated)

Hours: 40 to 44 hours per week

Benefits: as per Alberta standards

Terms of employment: Full time permanent position

Employment conditions: Evening, Morning, Weekend

Job Requirements: Language: English

Education: Degree in medicine, dentistry, veterinary medicine, or optometry

Experience: Experience is an asset

Job Duties:
• Consult with other medical practitioners to evaluate patients' physical and mental health
• Prescribe and administer medications and treatments
• Inoculate and vaccinate patients to prevent and treat diseases
• Advise patients on health care
• Report births, deaths, contagious and other diseases to government authorities
• Be the patient advocate
• Co-ordinate or manage primary patient care
• Provide acute care management
• Provide counselling and support to patients and their families on a wide range of health and lifestyle issues
