Job Overview
We are seeking a compassionate, dependable, and patient Family Caregiver to provide personal care, companionship, and assistance with daily living activities to an elderly female client in a private residence.
This is a full time position of at least 30 hours per week.
The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the client's personal care needs, assisting with daily routines, and helping maintain her comfort, safety, and overall well-being.
This is an on-site position, and all work must be performed at the employer's home. There is no option to work remotely.
Optional accommodation is available at no charge on a live-in basis. Live-in accommodation is not a condition of employment.
Responsibilities
The Family Caregiver will be responsible for the following duties:
Administer bedside and personal care.
Administer medications as required.
Assist the client with bathing and other aspects of personal hygiene.
Assist the client with regular exercise, such as walking.
Provide companionship and emotional support.
Provide personal care and assistance with daily living activities.
Prepare and serve nutritious meals.
Support the client's comfort, safety, and general well-being within the home.
Education
Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
Experience
7 months to less than 1 year of relevant caregiving experience.
