Facility Operations Manager Job

[ DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES ]

Plan, organize, direct, and evaluate the daily operations and maintenance of resort facilities.
Develop and oversee safety inspections, preventative maintenance, and repair schedules.
Manage facility budgets, prepare related statistics and reports.
Supervise service contracts and outsourced vendors (cleaning, security, landscaping, etc.).
Coordinate construction, renovation, or expansion projects.
Recruit, train, and supervise maintenance and support staff to ensure service quality and efficiency.
Monitor energy consumption and implement cost-saving or sustainability initiatives.
Ensure compliance with provincial health, safety, and building regulations.
Respond promptly to guest and operational issues related to facilities, ensuring minimal disruption to resort services.
Maintain inventory of tools, equipment, and supplies, and oversee procurement as needed.

Job Types: Full-time
Hourly Wage: $48.50/hour
Working Hours: 30 hours/week

[ REQUIREMENTS ]

1.Education: College diploma or university degree in architecture, facility management, business administration, or a related field.
2.Experience: Minimum 3 years of work experience in facility operations, engineering management, or related supervisory/managerial role. Resort, hotel, or construction project experience is an asset.
3.Skills: Strong leadership, communication, and vendor coordination skills; knowledge of facility budgeting and safety management.
4.Language: English (verbal and written).
