Facility Maintenance Coordinator Job

We are currently seeking a Facility Maintenance Coordinator to oversee the efficient operation of our facilities and ensure a safe working environment for our employees. The ideal candidate will work 35 hours per week and receive an annual salary of $81,900. Below are the primary responsibilities and qualifications for this role:

Duties:
• Oversee and lead the maintenance and repair efforts for all machinery, equipment, and electrical systems within the facility. This includes troubleshooting issues, coordinating repairs, and ensuring minimal downtime to maintain operational efficiency.
• Design and manage detailed schedules for routine inspections. Collect and analyze inspection reports to identify maintenance needs, prioritize tasks, and implement corrective actions promptly.
• Assign specific maintenance tasks to technicians based on their expertise and workload. Conduct regular evaluations of their work to ensure that all maintenance activities meet the established quality and safety standards.
• Formulate comprehensive procedures and policies for regular inspections and maintenance activities. Ensure that all technicians are thoroughly trained and adhere to these protocols to maintain high safety and operational standards.
• Work closely with operators and the cleaning department to maintain equipment safety and ensure all safety protocols are followed.
• Develop and oversee the facility maintenance budget. Monitor expenditures, optimize resource allocation, and implement cost-saving measures without compromising on quality.
• Procure tools, parts, and supplies necessary for facility maintenance, ensuring product quality to support maintenance standards.
• Identify and negotiate with external partners for outsourcing specific services and manage service agreements.
• Coordinate with HR to recruit and train new technicians, equip new hires with essential skills and knowledge, ensuring they are well-prepared to perform their roles effectively.

• A Bachelor’s degree in electrical, mechanical, or engineering fields is required.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in facility maintenance is essential.
• Proven supervisory experience in facility maintenance is necessary.
