Experienced Graphic Designer Job

Yu Shu Home is a multimedia company that produces and distributes Grandmaster Jin Bodhi’s videos and audio serials to spread compassion and teach meditation. We hope to give more people the opportunity to learn simple and effective modern meditation methods; to know the wisdom of life and increase the rich and diverse cultural and historical knowledge; to achieve a happier and better life. The productions are launched through several platforms, including Grandmaster Jin Bodhi’s Facebook page (which has more than 5 million followers) and his YouTube channel (which has over 16 million subscriber, and more than 400 million annual views, with viewers in more than 100 countries and regions).

We are looking for a passionate in-house graphic designer who can develop the overall layout and production design for advertisements, brochures, reports, front page of videos and audios.

Job duties:
1. Determine the medium best suited to produce the desired visual effect and the most appropriate vehicle for communication
2. Create the illustration pictures for the video work
3. Design YouTube Thumbnails and the advertisement sheet for customers
4. Design company brochures, presentations, promotional materials, and website elements
5. Meet with other team members to determine requirements and vision for videos or audios’ elements
6. Review finalized materials to be sure there are no errors.
7. Estimate cost of materials and time to complete graphic design
8. Co-ordinate all aspects of production for print, audio-visual or electronic materials, such as Web sites, CDs and interactive terminals

Education & Qualification:
1. Completion of a college diploma program in graphic arts is required
2. 1-2 year of experience in related field is required
3. Candidates with a background in Buddhist studies or experience in faith-based marketing are preferred

Requirements and skills
1. Familiarity with design software and technologies (such as InDesign, Illustrator, Dreamweaver, Photoshop)
2. A keen eye for aesthetics and details
3. Excellent communication skills in English
4. Ability to work methodically and meet deadlines
