Executive Housekeeper

Sicamous Super 8 Motel, located at 1120 Riverside Ave, Sicamous, BC V0E 2V0, is looking for 2 full-time Executive Housekeepers. These are year-round, full–time positions. We are committed to providing 24-hour service as part of our commitment to making our guests’ visits as pleasant and comfortable as possible.

The right candidates will provide the following services:
• Coordinate, supervise and assign duties to the housekeeping staff.
• Ensure all equipment is properly working and in good repair.
• Coordinate and supervise the in-house laundry services and make arrangements to outsource this service if necessary.
• Maintain inventory of supplies and equipment. Inform management of purchases or repairs needed.
• Prepare weekly work schedules.
• Ensure that cleaning standards are met.
• Respond to complaints from guests.
• Hire and train staff. Recommend staff for promotions.

We offer $25.00/hr for a full-time position of 40 hours/week

Required skills: Completion of high school. A college diploma in hotel management is considered an asset. A minimum of one year of supervisory experience as a cleaning or housekeeper supervisor is required. The executive housekeepers must be able to lift loads of 20 lbs, perform physically demanding tasks, and communicate effectively in English.
