Middle School Mathematics Teachers. Teach Mathematics to Middle School students. Train new teachers and staff. Administer assessment tests. Manage Student behaviors. Plan and Prepare lesson plans and materials for activities. Supervise activities. Communicate with parents. Establish objectives for all lessons. Establish and enforce rules for behavior and procedures. Prepare, administer, and grade tests and assignments. Maintain accurate and complete student records. Assign and grade students work. Observe and evaluate students and new teachers and staff. Enforce policies and rules governing students. Support struggling Middle School students with their homework in afterschool or summer programs. Teach Mathematics to struggling Middle School students in afterschool or summer programs. Support teachers and staff in free school and summer programs. Have or be eligible to get a North Carolina Teacher Certificate.
