ABOUT VACANCY

At this time, we are looking for an Executive Compensation Consultant to join our team.

MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Develop, implement, and evaluate executive compensation strategies, programs, and policies aligned with business goals
• Conduct extensive market research and salary surveys to benchmark competitive pay and benefits
• Analyze internal job roles, perform job evaluations, and determine appropriate salary grades and pay scales
• Ensure executive compensation programs comply with local and national labour laws and pay equity regulations
• Collaborate with HR and business leaders to review and update compensation policies and salary structures
• Prepare detailed reports and present findings with recommendations to senior management
• Administer programs related to base pay, bonuses, incentive plans, equity awards, and employee benefits
• Train and advise clients on compensation practices
• Manage performance-related pay systems and link compensation with organizational performance metrics
• Participate in compensation-related projects, including automation, policy changes, and market adjustments

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s degree or college diploma in Commerce, Business Administration, or a related field
• Hands-on experience in executive compensation consulting is a strong asset
• Deep knowledge of best practices and corporate governance for executive compensation and as it relates to securities/tax/employment law, statistics, finance, HR and accounting.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex compensation data and market trends
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate and present to diverse stakeholders
• Fluent English
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively, as part of the team

WORK CONDITIONS

• Permanent, full-time position
• $43.30 per hour
• 40 hours of work per week
• Overtime pay ($64.95/ hour) applies after 44 hours of work per week
• Work location: 330 Bay Street, Suite 1102, Toronto, ON M5H 2S8
