We are seeking a skilled and experienced Executive Chef to lead and oversee all aspects of our kitchen operations.
Job duties:
-Lead and mentor the kitchen team, promoting a collaborative and supportive work environment.
-Develop and update seasonal menus based on availability, trends, and client feedback.
-Ensure all dishes meet Wok & Bowl’s standards for quality, taste, and presentation.
-Manage inventory, ordering, and food costs to support profitability and efficiency.
-Train kitchen staff to maintain high standards in food preparation, safety, and consistency.
-Maintain cleanliness, organization, and food safety protocols at all times.
-Collaborate with ownership and front-of-house staff to ensure a seamless client experience.
-Plan and execute catering for private and corporate events, overseeing menu planning, logistics, and service.
-Ensure event operations run smoothly and meet client expectations and brand standards.

-Completion of secondary school is required.
-Cook’s trade certification (Red Seal or equivalent), or a combination of relevant training and experience, is required.
-Minimum 2–4 years of experience in kitchen management or catering/event food service.
-At least 2 years of experience in a supervisory role such as sous-chef or chef.
-Menu development or costing experience.
-Knowledge of food safety regulations (HACCP, etc.).
-Cook’s trade certification (Red Seal or equivalent), or a combination of relevant training and experience, is required.
-Minimum 2–4 years of experience in kitchen management or catering/event food service.
