Position: Executive Assistant
Wage: $35.00 per hour plus 4% vacation pay
Hours: 30 hours per week
About Us:
The Riley Park Hillcrest Community Association (RPHCA) is a non-profit association dedicated to enhancing community engagement and fostering a welcoming environment for all residents. We are seeking a motivated and organized Executive Assistant to join our team and support our mission.
Key Responsibilities:
• Act as principal vessel of communication between the President of the Board and
the Board members;
• Act as principal communicator between public officials and the public/membership;
• Be responsible for the Board to adhere to the RPHCA and BC Society bylaws;
• Schedule meetings for the Board and the President;
• Attend and take minutes during the weekly/monthly meetings with the
President/Board members;
• Ensure Society documents are filed in a timely manner;
• Draft letters;
• Perform researches and information management;
• Oversee of day-to-day business;
• Manage social media accounts and edit association website
• Receive and accurately carry out written instructions;
• Send and articulate written instructions;
• Perform all other relative duties directed by the President

Job Requirements:
Qualifications:
• Education: A minimum of a diploma in Office Administration, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Several years experience as an Executive Assistant or in a similar administrative role.
• Experience with non-profit organizations’ Board of Directors is an asset.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Fluent in English
• Ability to deal with confidential information.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and familiarity with office equipment.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Flexibility to work hybrid and participate in in-person meetings.
• Basic Finance knowledge is considered an asset.
• BC Society bylaws working knowledge is an asset.
