Overview
Join Marvel Entertainment Inc. as an Event Coordinator, where you will play a key role in planning, organizing, and executing a variety of events. We are looking for a detail-oriented individual with a passion for event management who can work on-site in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
Languages: English
Education
College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 to 2 years, or equivalent experience.
Experience
1 year to less than 2 years of experience in event coordination or related fields.
Responsibilities
Administer revenues and expenditures, and assist in budget preparation.
Develop marketing and communication plans to promote events effectively.
Prepare, present, and manage event budgets to ensure financial efficiency.
Determine and arrange requirements for hospitality, signage, multimedia equipment, printing, and technical services.
Coordinate with vendors for promotional products, shipping, receiving, and storage.
Assist in site selection and manage the logistics of set-ups, staging, seating, parking, and communication systems for special events.
Plan and arrange accommodations, transportation services, and social programs.
Oversee event schedules, goals, and objectives, and ensure they align with client expectations.
Implement services such as food and beverage, transportation, and other necessary amenities for events.
Plan and oversee webinars and other virtual events as needed.
Prepare final financial and operational reports post-event.
Identify and manage human resources requirements for successful event execution.
