Wage: $17.00 hourly
Hours: 30 to 40 hours per week

Responsibilities & Tasks
- Authentic Food Preparation & Cooking: Prepare, season, and cook complete Japanese meals or individual signature dishes (including hot kitchen items like ramen broth, udon, donburi, and tempura) according to traditional recipes and presentation standards.
- Station Quality Control & Inspection: Systematically inspect kitchen stations, prep areas, and food service lines daily to guarantee absolute freshness, correct storage temperatures, and total compliance with food safety protocols.
- Inventory & Resource Management: Monitor and maintain accurate records of food stock, specialty Japanese ingredients, kitchen supplies, and equipment usage to ensure seamless shift handovers and minimal food waste.
- Kitchen Sanitation & Safety: Maintain an immaculate back-of-house environment by cleaning work surfaces, prep stations, and commercial cooking equipment to ensure a hygienic and organized workspace.

Job Requirements:
1 - 2 years of professional cooking experience, focus on Japanese cuisine and international culinary.
Ability to thrive and maintain focus within a fast-paced kitchen environment.
Capability to handle repetitive culinary tasks and stand for extended periods during shifts.
Proven ability to deliver high-quality work consistently under pressure.
Demonstrated dependability, reliability, and a strong sense of accountability.
Excellent organizational skills to manage prep work and station setup efficiently.
A dedicated team player who collaborates effectively with kitchen and service staff.
English is required. Mandarin and/or Japanese fluency is a strong asset for kitchen communication.
