ERP Production Planning Specialist – Materials Management Job

Responsibilities: Including but not limited to the following:
• Oversee the full cycle of material procurement, including purchase orders, vendor communications, shipping logistics, and customs clearance for both domestic and international suppliers.
• Use the ERP system to create purchase orders, monitor deliveries, track transactions, and ensure accurate financial postings for all material transactions.
• Manage supplier performance, resolve discrepancies, and ensure the timely delivery of high-quality automotive components to meet production schedules.
• Handle international trade documentation (commercial invoices, packing lists, import/export compliance records) to ensure smooth customs clearance and compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Monitor inventory levels, analyze stock turnover, and collaborate with suppliers to maintain optimal inventory levels to meet production demand.
• Analyze procurement data in the ERP system to identify cost-saving opportunities, forecast material demand, and support accurate budgeting and planning.

Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or a related field AND at least 6 months of experience in production planning, manufacturing management, and materials management, including hands-on experience with ERP systems; and
• Familiarity with inventory management, supply chain coordination, and supplier management, preferably with experience in automotive parts manufacturing.
