Job Description:
This is a union position located at our Mississauga transfer station.
Starting Wage: $32.62/hr.
Start time: 5 am – 2 pm
Shift: Mondays – Fridays; overtime is paid after 45 hours weekly.
I. Job Summary
Sets up and operates a Wheel Loader. May occasionally be required to operate other equipment and perform work according to specifications. Also responsible for cleaning around the compactor and the compactor door, and on down time, tidying up the yard would be expected as well.
II. Essential Duties and Responsibilities
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Other minor duties may be assigned.
Operates equipment in accordance with the company's operating procedures.
Verifies that equipment is in working order, e.g., tooling, safety mechanisms.
Moves and positions raw materials and finished components with use of material moving equipment.
Performs daily maintenance and cleaning activities.
III. Supervisory Responsibilities
This job has no supervisory duties.

B. Certificates, Licenses, Registrations, or Other Requirements
Valid Driver’s license preferred but not required.
C. Other Knowledge, Skills, or Abilities Required
Must be legally eligible to work in Canada with a valid Canadian SIN (social insurance number).

The pay for this on-site position is $32.62 hourly. This represents a good-faith estimate for this position.
