Environmental Specialist Job

Environmental Specialist is needed to perform the following duties:

• Analyze and interpret analytical results and assist with the preparation of site assessment reports under the supervision of a Senior Project Manager.
• Conduct field mapping and map preparation and maintain spreadsheets/database of chemical results and other data for projects, prepare charts, geological boring logs, and conduct routine scientific calculations
• Prepare New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection forms, including individual reports, Receptor Evaluations (RE), Public Notification, Full Laboratory Data Deliverables, Well Searches, Biennial Certification, Soil and Groundwater Permits, Classification Exception Area / Well Restriction Area (CEA/WRA) Fact Sheet, and Deed Notices.
• Assist Licensed Site Remediation Professional (LSRP) in preparing construction sustainability data collection reports, Remedial Investigation, Remedial Action Reports, and documentation in accordance with the New Jersey regulations and guidance documents.
• Assist in developing draft proposal and cost estimate sheet as directed by Senior Project Manager.
• Coordinate with subcontractors, clients and generate weekly project updates
• Perform a variety of field work including oversight for drilling operations for soil boring and monitoring well installation, soil and groundwater sampling, soil vapor and indoor air sampling, waste management and disposal, oversight of remedial investigation and remedial action activities, overseeing underground storage tank removal, and community air monitoring,

Bachelor’s degree is required in Environmental Engineering or Environmental Science or Environmental Technology and Sustainability or Geological Sciences or Geology
