Job Description:
RESPONSIBILITIES:
The key responsibilities of this role include:
Managing overall safety, health, and environmental activities with the primary goal of reducing loss and liability while identifying and eliminating safety concerns within manufacturing facilities.
Providing regulatory interpretation, technical support, and advice on safety, environmental, and industrial hygiene matters.
Ensuring that records are maintained in compliance with local, state, and federal environmental and safety laws, regulations, permits, and programs.
Conducting regular training and communication on EHS (Environment, Health, and Safety) compliance and performance results across the company.
Reviewing incidents and injuries, conducting follow-up interviews, and identifying root causes.
Taking responsibility for the implementation and maintenance of ISO programs.
Staying updated on new policies from OSHA, NIOSH, NFPA, PSM, and other required agencies.
Managing and utilizing safety software programs effectively.
Reviewing and approving Job Hazard Analysis forms for entire facilities departments.
Completing and reporting on OSHA 300/301 logs.
Providing an overview and reporting on company accident statistics and making recommendations for addressing problem areas.
Studying, planning, and formulating new and revised safety programs and rules.
Coordinating safety activities to ensure the company's compliance with Federal and State guidelines by scheduling classes/instructors, setting priorities, and providing direction.

Job Requirements:
MUST HAVES:
High School diploma or equivalent
OSHA 30hr certification
7+ years of experience in a safety-related field within a manufacturing environment
MUST HAVE:
Bachelor’s degree in safety, industrial hygiene, Environmental engineering or other physical science
OSHA 30hr certification
4 years of experience in a safety-related field in a manufacturing environment
High School diploma or equivalent
OSHA 30hr certification
7+ years of experience in a safety-related field within a manufacturing environment
MUST HAVE:
Bachelor’s degree in safety, industrial hygiene, Environmental engineering or other physical science
