Environmental Geologist Job

• Hydraulic property testing of rock samples from lithium brine deposits; laboratory data processing and analysis; technical report writing (NI 43-101).
• Development of conceptual and numerical models to predict tailings storage facilities seepage rates during post-closure draindown.
• Development and calibration of numerical models to predict long-term evapotranspiration and net percolation of mine waste cover systems.
• Water content and matric potential sensor field installation, data processing, analysis and QC.
• Material characterization and field sampling.
• Monitoring streamflow measurements with Sontek FlowTracker 2.
• Assist in managed aquifer recharge projects with field reconnaissance, soil characterization and sampling, and assessing soil properties and aquifer recharge suitability.

• Bachelor’s degree in Geology or foreign equivalent, or closely related field.
• Six (6) months of experiences in hydraulic property testing, lab data processing, analysis, and technical report writing.
• Knowledge of Andean geology with experience in the Salar systems in the Lithium Triangle.
• Knowledge of geographic information systems (ESRI) and numerical modeling software.
