Position Information
Position Title: Environmental Database Analyst
Terms of Employment: Permanent, Full-Time
Hours of Work: 30–40 hours per week, with occasional overtime as required

Job Duties
• Collect, research, analyze, and present environmental data to support company projects, clients, and government agencies.
• Design and develop database architecture integrating GIS (Geographic Information Systems) and statistical software.
• Maintain, troubleshoot, and resolve issues in database applications such as Microsoft Access.
• Collect and document user requirements for database and data management needs.
• Execute GIS-related tasks using diversified data sources (e.g., Lidar, AutoCAD, CSV files).
• Collaborate with project managers, team leads, and technical staff to produce data summaries on environmental, property, and sustainability information.
• Oversee and support GIS data management needs for construction and renovation projects.
• Maintain project files and ensure environmental data is archived properly for future reference.
• Stay updated with the latest developments in GIS technology and database management practices.
Compensation & Benefits
Wage: $44.00 – $47.00 per hour (based on experience)
Benefits: Health and dental coverage package; 2 weeks (14 days) paid vacation per year in accordance with Ontario and federal employment standards
Performance pay/bonuses: May be considered based on project success and company policy
