Entry Level Business Analyst Job

Responsibilities
• Assist in gathering, analyzing, and documenting business requirements from stakeholders and academic project simulations.
• Prepare BRDs, user stories, process flows, and mockups to support solution design.
• Conduct basic gap and impact analysis to evaluate current vs. future processes.
• Support Agile project activities, including participation in mock scrum ceremonies.
• Perform basic SQL queries and data analysis to validate and interpret business data.
• Contribute to UAT by preparing test cases and validating results against requirements.
• Prepare presentations, reports, and workflow diagrams to communicate findings clearly.

Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field (or currently pursuing).
• Understanding of business analysis concepts, SDLC, and requirement-gathering techniques.
• Basic knowledge of SQL and proficiency with Excel or similar data tools.
• Familiarity with Agile methodology and documentation formats (BRD, user stories, process flows).
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to collaborate in team environments and manage tasks with attention to detail.
