Enterprise Solutions Architect Job

Enterprise Solutions Architect: Design, develop and implement solid, scalable, and robust data storage and converged data center solutions. Analyze client requirements and design more efficient database solutions, tables, codes, and procedures to improve system performance. Review project requests to estimate the time and cost required to accomplish the project. Administer and deploy new and/or improved data systems and storage architecture to accommodate new and potential clients as well as additional product lines. Lead and manage project and engineering teams by providing training curriculums, finding and/or creation useful and applicable content such as white papers, best practices, and case study development. Provide technical leadership for complex projects and ensure the success of enterprise-level systems technology solution activities. Produce and review solutions while ensuring company requirements are enforced, best practices are implemented, and documentation is accurate and sufficient for deployment by engineering teams. Create technology and product roadmaps for current and potential clients. Develop and maintain documentation of all systems and storage architecture design, policies, standards, and analysis work. Monitor database activity for space or hardware issues and provide performance-tuning assistance when required. Act as a systems/storage consultant to understand and develop system solutions for clients. Stay abreast of the latest technological advances and industry trends in Enterprise, Datacenter, and Cloud Systems Solutions.

Requirements: The position requires a Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field and two years of experience in the job offered or a related position. May be substituted with a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field and five years of experience in the job offered or related position. The position requires skills and knowledge of Server, Storage & Network Virtualization & Consolidation, Virtual Desktop Infrastructure, and Mobile Device Management, Enterprise Data Protection and Data Management Solutions, VMware VTSP, VCP, HPE, ILM, and Enterprise Network. The position requires little travel, 24% of the work time several days but less than 60 days per year in California.
