Responsibilities:
• Assist in the design, development, and implementation of engineering projects and warehouse systems.
• Conduct tests, analyze data, and prepare detailed technical reports.
• Develop and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and technical specifications.
• Supervise and inspect the installation, modification, and testing of systems and structures within warehouse operations.
• Utilize CAD software and other engineering tools for modeling and simulation.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations, codes, and industry standards.
• Maintain and repair engineering systems or warehouse machinery as required.
• Provide technical support and recommendations for process improvements.
• Collaborate with engineers, contractors, and other professionals to optimize warehouse processes.
• Prepare cost estimates, budgets, and project schedules to improve operational efficiency.
• Perform infrastructure condition assessments and asset management analysis.
• Conduct surveying, design, contract preparation, inspection, and material testing for warehouse-related projects.
• Manage data collection and processing, including electronic and hard copy records.
• Ensure the accuracy and feasibility of work programs and schedules.
• Provide technical assistance and respond to public inquiries related to warehouse operations.
• Prepare technical reports, review CCTV inspections, and update as-built records.
• Monitor compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
• Conduct research to develop and improve engineering processes related to warehouse efficiency.
• Support engineering teams in troubleshooting system problems and implementing solutions.
• Perform diagnostic tests and experiments to assess warehouse equipment performance.
• Document test results, procedures, and recommendations for future developments.

Profile
- Professional certification or post-secondary education in a related matter (preferred)
- Experience with engineering software such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, MATLAB, and other industry-specific tools.
- Strong analytical and critical-thinking abilities to assess warehouse systems and improve efficiency.
- Ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to engineers, contractors, and non-technical staff.
- Proven track record in managing projects, including cost estimation, scheduling, and quality control.
- Understanding engineering principles, industry-specific regulations, and best practices.
