Engineering Manager Job

An Engineering Manager is needed in Valley, Alabama.

• Oversee the planning, development, and optimization of materials and manufacturing processes for automotive components, including seats, headrests, and armrests, ensuring alignment with production goals and material performance standards.
• Evaluate and enhance the use of raw materials, material flow, and resource utilization across manufacturing operations to improve product durability, reduce waste, and control costs.
• Analyze and redesign plant layouts, material handling systems, and process flows to support efficient production and safe working conditions.
• Lead efforts to identify and resolve materials-related issues by analyzing test data, production metrics, and defect trends, implementing corrective actions to maintain product quality.
• Direct research and testing of materials to assess their strength, performance, and suitability for use in various automotive applications, supporting continuous product innovation.
• Monitor compliance with industry regulations, environmental standards, and technological advancements to ensure up-to-date materials practices and risk mitigation.
• Implement and manage programs for improving manufacturing efficiency, quality assurance, and the integration of sustainable materials.
• Supervise and mentor engineering and technical staff, promoting best practices in materials engineering and continuous improvement initiatives.

Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Engineering Technology and 3 years of experience in automotive parts manufacturing industry.
