Engineering Manager Job

Superior Machine Products Inc (dba Superior Machine Products) seeks a Engineering Manager located in Racine, WI.

• Manage the production for custom machining projects from concept to delivery, ensuring specifications, timelines, and customer expectations are met.
• Manage and mentor a team of designers, machinists, and operators.
• Leading CAD/CAM Integration: Oversee the use of software, including CREO, MASTERCAM, WORKNC to program CNC machines accurately.
• Ensure products and services meet stringent customers and/or ISO/AS9100 standards through statistical process control and inspections. Also conduct the internal audits periodically to
maintain the ISO Certified status.
• Acquire appropriate materials and ensure processes align with machining requirements of the material based on their application. Oversee project quotations, operational budgets,
resource allocation, and production schedules.
• Collaborate with vendors, machinists, customer representatives to ensure the designed/manufactured products meet the function as intended and implement process improvement as and when needed.
• Process optimization, including developing, evaluating, and improving machining processes to minimize waste, and maximize quality, efficiency.
• Innovation & Continuous-Improvement by introducing new technologies and processes to stay competitive and efficient.
• Work with customers to interpret drawings/models, clarify specifications, and recommend cost-effective manufacturing solutions.
• Work on the manufacturing process including: CAD/CAM systems; CNC machines for designing, selecting, and managing; Interpreting drawings & models and clarifying specifications;
• Developing manufacturing plans, process flow, routings, & work instructions; and Methodologies: Lean, Six Sigma, and 5S.
• Other similar duties as assigned

Various worksites: relocation to project-based unanticipated locations within USA possible.

Masters degree in Engineering Management or equivalent with 12 months experience in Job offered or any occupation in which the required experience was gained.
