Engineering Manager Job

An Engineering Manager is needed in LaGrange, Georgia.

• Direct, oversee and manage the overall engineering process of Hamco America, Inc. in manufacturing, operating, diagnosing, and repairing its automated wheel and tire assemblers, tire feeding systems, and industrial conveyor systems.
• Ensure final products are accurately assembled as requested by clients’ engineering specifications by reviewing qualities and performance.
• Establish and develop engineering policies and regulations and responsible for compliance to those policies and regulations for subordinate employees.
• Hold weekly meetings with other managers such as production line manager, production support manager, or senior manager to discuss the status of manufacturing schedules, maintenance schedules, conditions of machinery or equipment to improve products quality and performance.
• Research advanced engineering manufacturing systems to increase product quality and performance.
• Responsible for hiring, firing, promotions, disciplinary actions, salary increase, and approval of leaves requests of employees.
• Supervise and lead engineers and technicians in new manufacturing methods and specifications.
• Review and approve product designs created by engineers and recommend areas where modifications can be made.

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Engineering Technology and 5 years of managerial experience in automotive parts manufacturing industry.
