Engineering Manager Job

Collaborates with product management, stakeholders, and development staff on requirements, design, estimates, and acceptance testing; Analyzes and plans resource allocations required to support the Streamline Technology Roadmap; Plans and monitors engineering schedules and follows up with measures of performance against estimates; Recommends and implements new policies and procedures as directed; Ensures that quality software is delivered in a timely manner; Assists with personnel functions, including interviewing, training, reviewing, and approving job descriptions, selection and placement of personnel, and performance evaluations; Ensures compliance of the company policies, procedures, and objectives regarding processes, initiatives, and projects; and Dedicates time to research and learn new technologies for keeping current with best practices, pattern, and relevant technologies.

Bachelor or foreign degree equivalent in Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Health Informatics, Business or related field and 2 years of experience in the job offered or in an engineering management role or equivalent. Special skills – Experience in all aspects of Software Development Life cycle (SDLC); Object Orientated Programming (OOP); Microsoft C#, .NET, JavaScript, HTML5 CSS3, JSON, SQL, Azure DevOps; and project management. Occasional domestic travel required. Telecommuting permitted. May reside anywhere in the U.S.
