Engineering Manager Job

• Manage utility data for large real estate portfolios, ENERGY STAR benchmarking, benchmarking compliance laws, and green building certifications.
• Support the data management programs for one of our multifamily portfolios and oversee two other portfolios, doing ASHRAE Level I & II energy audits for several facilities.
• Identify energy saving opportunities in building control systems, equipment’s and provide technical recommendations to the client.
• Give recommendations to the clients based on calculations that determine the energy and cost savings the property can achieve. Some of these audits are also leveraged to help clients to achieve green building certifications.
• Perform ENERGY STAR benchmarking site visits where the beneficiary needs to check if the facility complies with all the requirements for achieving Energy Star Certification.
• Collect, track, manage and report utility data for large real estate portfolios.
• Manage, manipulate and analyze utility billing and usage data (energy, water, waste and carbon emissions)
• Track and report utility data to help comply with local and state benchmarking regulations
• Benchmark utility data on ENERGY STAR Portfolio Manager and leverage software tools from utility automation providers and energy management software tools
• Assist with identifying and implementing energy conservation projects including providing data to support annual budgeting process
• Provide technical support for Energy Star, Green Building Certifications and ESG reporting including GRESB, GRI, CDP and UNPRI among others
• Identify energy saving opportunities in building control systems, provide technical recommendations, and perform calculations
• Conduct ASHRAE Level I & II energy audits and identify energy conservation measures and assist clients in evaluating performance of innovative mechanical technologies and equipment performances
• Inspect heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and control system designs and performances to determine potential energy savings
• Perform outdoor air measurements and calculations, review building floor plan designs, and assist in the ongoing commissioning
• Manage client Decarbonization programs – making 2050 Net-Zero commitment, setting baseline and targets, recommending NZ pathways, GHG inventory data management, Scope 3 Value Chain assessment
• ESG KPIs tracking and monitoring - Energy, Water, Waste performance using inbuilt features and functionalities in various analytics and BI platforms
• Shadow metering data platform API integration with ENERGY STAR for monthly aggregated building energy usage
• Asset-level Sustainability Attributes and ESG risks monitoring
• Verdani’s ESG Database and BI platform development involving API integration with their-party technology platforms and ENERGY STAR Portfolio Manager to facilitate automated information flow
