Emotional Support and Cognitive Wellness Aide Job

Provide non-clinical, in-home support to a retired individual, using training in psychology to enhance emotional well-being and encourage cognitive engagement. Develop and implement wellness routines that promote healthy daily structure, maintain brief records of activities and observations, and engage the person in meaningful conversation and stimulating cognitive exercises. Assist with basic paperwork or correspondence, provide information about community resources, support independent living through positive reinforcement, and observe daily routines to offer thoughtful, psychology-based guidance on wellness and overall quality of life.
