Job Description:
Develop lesson plans to teach students elementary school subjects, such as reading, writing, science, and math, based on the Montessori method;
Evaluate abilities of students, to develop an individualized curriculum for every student.
Teach in mixed age classrooms, setting students on a path to become self-directed, critical thinkers. Ensure that the mixed age setting allows older children to practice their leadership
skills and build empathy, while younger students learn more quickly from their older peers ; grade students’ assigned schoolwork, and homework; inform and discuss with parents about
their child’s school performance
Prepare students for standardized tests required by the state
