Job Summary
The Electronics Technician is responsible for installing, testing, repairing, and maintaining electronic equipment and systems used in manufacturing and production environments. This role requires strong troubleshooting skills, hands-on experience with sensors, motors, control panels, PCBs, and electronic instruments.
🛠 Key Responsibilities
Perform troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair of electronic systems, sensors, motors, controllers, and production equipment.
Diagnose faults using tools such as multimeters, oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and other diagnostic equipment.
Install, test, and calibrate electronic components and systems per standard operating procedures.
Support preventive maintenance activities to reduce equipment downtime.
Work with wiring diagrams, electrical schematics, and technical manuals for correct installation and repair.
Assist engineering teams in assembling, testing, and validating new electronic setups.
Maintain documentation for repairs, maintenance activities, and part replacements.
Ensure compliance with safety standards and EHS policies.
Collaborate with production, quality, and engineering teams to resolve equipment or electronic-related issues.
Perform PCB-level soldering, component replacement, and rework when required.
📚 Required Skills & Qualifications
Diploma / ITI / Degree in Electronics, Electrical, or related technical field.
Hands-on experience with motors, sensors, power supplies, control wiring, and industrial electronics.
Strong knowledge of electrical control and power wiring.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.
Experience with test equipment: multimeters, oscilloscopes, signal generators, etc.
Good understanding of troubleshooting techniques for electronic and electromechanical systems.
Knowledge of safety standards and industrial maintenance practices.
Strong problem-solving, communication, and time-management skills.
✨ Preferred Qualifications (Good to Have)
Experience in manufacturing/production environment.
Knowledge of PLC basics (reading I/O, basic diagnostics).
Experience with SMT/TH soldering and PCB repair.
Preventive maintenance planning experience.
Familiarity with automation systems and industrial sensors.
