JOB TITLE: Electronic Service Technician

JOB TYPE: Regular
TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT: Permanent; Full-time
ANTICIPATED START DATE: As soon as Possible
SALARY: $26.00 per Hour
HOURS OF EMPLOYMENT: 40 hours/week
WORK SETTING: Manufacturing

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Evaluate and assess electronic systems, components, and assemblies using diagnostic tools to troubleshoot the issues when required.
• Set up, service, and fix electronic devices for commercial settings, including door operators and related peripherals.
• Repair or replace defective or worn-out parts and components using hand, power or specially designed tools by following technical manuals and schematics.
• Use necessary hand and power tools, and mechanical, electrical and electronic gauging devices, instruments, test equipment such as Oscilloscope, Digital multimeter, and other related equipment when required.
• Test and adjust repaired products for proper functioning.
• Prepare and maintain documentation, including work orders, test results, and maintenance records.
• Oversee and mentor other technicians specializing in electronic equipment services.
PROFESSIONAL SKILLS AND REQUIREMENTS:
• Completion of the college program in electronics or completion of high school with experience in related field.
• Minimum 7 months to 1 year of experience strongly preferred
• Effectively English communicate orally and in writing.
• May be physically demanding and may require: Bending, crouching, kneeling, standing for extended period
• Should be able to work under pressure; fast paced environment, flexibility, client focus, reliability, organized, team player and accurate
• Excellent organizational and Interpersonal Skills.
