Job Description:
• Monitor electrode production lines by analyzing real-time process and equipment data, including Manufacturing Execution System (MES) and real-time database (RTDB), to identify abnormalities and maintain stable operating conditions;
• Perform advanced troubleshooting of equipment and process-related issues, conduct root cause analysis (RCA), and implement corrective actions to minimize downtime and quality deviations;
• Optimize equipment parameters and process settings based on real-time data analysis to achieve optimal production performance and product quality;
• Support production stability, yield improvement, and scrap reduction through continuous equipment and process optimization;
• Monitor electrode process conditions, including slurry mixing and coating operations, to maintain product uniformity and quality standards;
• Collaborate with production, engineering, and quality functions to identify process deviations and implement cross-functional improvement initiatives;
• Support engineering trials and process changes by ensuring equipment readiness, stability, and proper parameter control;
• Support installation, commissioning, and ramp-up of new electrode manufacturing equipment to ensure stable integration into production lines;
• Lead and mentor maintenance and production technicians by providing technical guidance, troubleshooting support, and operational training;
• Document equipment performance, process issues, and corrective actions, and prepare technical reports to support continuous improvement and operational transparency;
• Ensure compliance with company safety policies and operational standards while supporting safe and efficient electrode manufacturing operations;
Job Requirements:
- An associate degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Industrial Engineering, or a related technical field, OR at least five (5) years of practical work experience supporting lithium-ion battery manufacturing processes, including electrode production, slurry mixing, process control, and equipment maintenance, in a high-volume production environment;
- Demonstrated hands-on experience in electrode manufacturing processes, including slurry preparation, mixing operations, and process parameter control affecting product quality and yield;
- Experience performing advanced troubleshooting of manufacturing equipment, conducting root cause analysis (RCA), and implementing corrective actions in an automated production environment;
- Experience analyzing manufacturing data using systems such as Manufacturing Execution System (MES) and other real-time production data monitoring tools;
- Ability to identify process deviations, optimize equipment performance, and support production stability, yield improvement, and scrap reduction initiatives;
- Experience collaborating with production, engineering, and quality functions in a manufacturing environment to resolve operational and process-related issues;
