Job Description:
• Identify and resolve quality issues and equipment malfunctions to ensure seamless production;
• Document equipment anomalies, report process deviations to relevant departments, and report quality concerns and technical bottlenecks to minimize downtime;
• Conduct regular inspections of assigned process equipment and manage Job Change protocols;
• Perform precision settings and adjust process conditions for optimal performance;
• Monitor and manage quality records and production yields;
• Detect and communicate yield fluctuations and implement corrective actions;
• Conduct training sessions on equipment operation, defect detection, and troubleshooting;
• Educate staff on Manufacturing Execution System (“MES”), Recipe Management System (“RMS”), and job change procedures;
• Execute routine inspections and preventive maintenance tasks according to the master plan;
• Implement Total Productive Maintenance (“TPM”) and predictive maintenance strategies to monitor equipment health;
• Manage consumable replacements and maintain detailed maintenance history logs;
• Perform urgent repairs, temporary fixes, and diagnostic troubleshooting for sudden equipment failures;
• Diagnose root causes of malfunctions, repair or replace defective components, record and manage breakdown history to prevent recurring issues;
• Assist engineers with equipment upgrades, modifications, and new equipment installations; and
• Supervise and support external contractors during on-site technical work and provide hands-on support for troubleshooting and process optimization tasks.
Job Requirements:
• Associate’s degree in Engineering Technology or closely related technical field with at least three (3) years of experience in electrode process operations in the EV battery industry; or at least six (6) years of such experience;
• Experience in electrode process operations, production support, equipment setup, process adjustment, quality control, yield support, or production stabilization;
• Experience identifying and addressing production issues, equipment malfunctions, or process abnormalities, including maintenance, repair support, or equipment improvement activities; and
• Ability to support process operations, quality-related activities, operator training, or technical support related to equipment operation and process procedures.
