Job Description:
• Maintain, upgrade, and improve PLC systems, including MELSEC-Q, MELSEC-L, MELSEC CC-LINK, and OMRON platforms, integrated into electrode manufacturing processes to optimize automation efficiency and productivity;
• Program and configure PLC platforms, set up communication protocols, and perform functional and verification tests to confirm system performance and adherence to engineering specifications;
• Lead troubleshooting efforts for PLC systems and automated equipment within the electrode manufacturing environment, conducting root cause analysis ("RCA") and implementing corrective actions to minimize downtime and maintain production targets;
• Develop and implement preventive maintenance plans for electrode manufacturing equipment, including PLC systems, industrial robots, pneumatic equipment, and servo machinery, to ensure operational reliability and longevity;
• Analyze equipment and process data from electrode manufacturing operations to identify opportunities for enhancement and develop strategies to achieve system operational excellence;
• Propose and implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality, reduce manufacturing costs, and improve production efficiency within the electrode manufacturing environment;
• Identify potential risks and vulnerabilities in electrode manufacturing systems, conduct risk assessments, and implement appropriate controls to address safety, security, and reliability concerns;
• Support real-time control system software to maintain and improve process control systems and machinery throughout the electrode manufacturing plant;
• Support installation, commissioning, and ramp-up of new electrode manufacturing equipment to ensure stable integration into production lines;
• Provide technical training and mentorship to local technicians on the operation and maintenance of PLC systems and automated equipment within the electrode manufacturing environment;
• Maintain comprehensive documentation of PLC systems and electrode manufacturing equipment, including technical specifications, operating procedures, maintenance logs, and compliance documentation.

Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechatronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Automation Engineering, or other closely related field of study;
- Over 5 years of experience in equipment maintenance and automated manufacturing systems within the automotive, battery, or other advanced manufacturing industries;
- Experience in PLC programming, troubleshooting, modification, and maintenance of automated production equipment;
- Technical knowledge of PLC systems, industrial robots, pneumatic systems, servo systems, sensors, and automated manufacturing equipment;
- Experience performing root cause analysis, preventive maintenance, equipment improvement, and production system optimization; and
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills in automated manufacturing environments.
- Over 5 years of experience in equipment maintenance and automated manufacturing systems within the automotive, battery, or other advanced manufacturing industries;
- Experience in PLC programming, troubleshooting, modification, and maintenance of automated production equipment;
- Technical knowledge of PLC systems, industrial robots, pneumatic systems, servo systems, sensors, and automated manufacturing equipment;
- Experience performing root cause analysis, preventive maintenance, equipment improvement, and production system optimization; and
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills in automated manufacturing environments.
