Pay: $40.00 per hour
Schedule: Full-time (Monday – Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM)
JOB OVERVIEW:
We are hiring an Engineering Technician to support assembly, testing, and prototyping of electronic hardware for automotive applications. This role works closely with engineering teams to ensure high-quality builds and timely project completion in a fast-paced lab environment.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Assemble and test electronic hardware (prototypes and low-volume builds)
• Support engineers with product development and process improvements
• Perform quality inspections and verify work accuracy
• Conduct final product testing based on procedures
• Assist with troubleshooting and resolving assembly issues
• Maintain accurate documentation and communication with teams
• Keep work area clean, organized, and compliant with safety standards
REQUIREMENTS:
• High school diploma or GED
• 3–5 years of electro-mechanical assembly experience
• Ability to read technical drawings and follow detailed instructions
• Experience using assembly tools (soldering irons, crimpers, cutters, etc.)
• Strong attention to detail and quality
• Experience with lab equipment (oscilloscopes, power supplies, etc.) preferred
• IPC certifications (IPC-610, IPC-620, J-STD) preferred
• Experience working in product development or low-volume manufacturing is a plus
