Electrician Job

Duties:
Reading of blueprint drawings
Installing new electrical wires, plugs, switches
Service and trouble-shoot electrical related issues
Adding additional circuits to electrical panel if needed
Installing new and retrofitting existing ceiling light panels
Providing power supply for dental equipment’s
Providing power to security cameras and computers in the clinic
Conducting test for newly installed and existing system to provide safety and
compatibility after installation
Scheduling and conducting preventive maintenance
Providing electrical and mechanical troubleshooting to the dental devices
Maintain and construct relevant electrical systems and services
Manage ESA permits and necessary locate requirements
Ensure all work meets ESA and internal requirements
Ensure all installation/service work is done according to quality standards
Follows all Regulations, company policies and standard operating procedures

Responsibilities:
Assists in determining and ordering parts and materials necessary for repair of equipment.
Assist with work overflow as needed
Performs safety inspections and related repairs
Assist with short and long-range planning for repair or replacement of assets and equipment
Completes work orders, time sheets and other reports promptly and accurately
Must become a member of an on-call rotation and work after hours in adverse weather
Perform other duties as assigned
Notify management in advance if the timeframe won't be possible to follow.

Requirements:
Minimum 2 years experience are required
Four- to five-year apprenticeship program must be completed
Must have valid trade certification for construction electricians
Trade certification for electricians (domestic and rural)
Journeyperson Electrician License (309A) is required
Master’s electrician license is an asset
Industrial/Commercial & high voltage experience is a definite asset
Mechanical experience and interest
Must possess and maintain a valid class G drivers’ license
