Employer: Dehal Mechanical Inc.
Location: Surrey, BC  V3V 6T7 (work will be performed at various locations across the Lower Mainland)
Salary: $38.50 per hour
Terms of employment: Permanent, Full-time
Hours per week: 30 hours
Start date: As soon as possible

Job requirements

Languages: English

Education:
Secondary (high) school graduation certificate

Experience:
Minimum 1-2 years of experience as a mechanic OR completion of a 3–4 year apprenticeship program

Work site environment:

·         Physically demanding

·         Fast-paced environment

·         Work at various locations

Work setting:

Various client sites across the Lower Mainland and Fraser Valley

Tasks

·         Inspect, diagnose, repair, and maintain mechanical systems and components

·         Adjust, repair, or replace parts and assemblies

·         Perform scheduled maintenance and preventative service

·         Test and adjust repaired systems for proper performance

·         Maintain repair logs and service records

·         Ensure work is performed according to safety standards and manufacturer specifications

Transportation/travel information

·         Travel to various job sites required

·         Valid driver’s licence required

Work conditions and physical capabilities

·         Bending, crouching, kneeling

·         Standing for extended periods

·         Handling heavy loads
