Job Requirements:
📌 Location: VA, Richmond
📆 Shift: First shift is from 6:00am to 2:30p and second shift is from 2:00pm to 10:30pm
Must be flexible to work 1st or 2nd shift and some weekends.
💰 Payrate: $21- $29/hour based on experience ((will be determined by the manager after interview
Non-negotiable Skills (Must-Have):
Responsibilities:
• Testing and troubleshooting various types of Static Switches, UPSs, RPPs, and PDUs
• Able to work with limited supervision
• Troubleshoot high and low power electronics
• Advanced proficiency in testing and troubleshooting electronics
• Experience with high power 600V-208V 3-phase applications
• Familiarity with PCBA programming
• Participate in cross-functional teams and collaborate with Quality/Process and Engineering
• Maintain 6S and a safe work area
• Report issues with schematics, drawings, etc.
• Ability to work weekends and overtime shifts
• Work closely with production on manufacturing issues
Key Qualifications:
• Associate's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent work experience
• 3-5 years of experience testing and troubleshooting electronics and 3-phase high power (preferred)
• 2+ years in a Test Lab and/or manufacturing environment (preferred)
• Thorough understanding of electrical/electronic technology
• Ability to read and understand engineering documentation
• Able to troubleshoot to the board level
• Able to set up and use electronic test equipment
• Able to construct and maintain test equipment
• Strong verbal and written English skills for witness testing
• Strong computer skills with Excel, Word, HyperTerminal, etc.
• Proficient in using power meters and oscilloscopes
• Understand transformer voltage, current, and power calculations
• Proven team player with strong interpersonal skills
• Strong attention to detail and highly organized
• Problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
• Lean manufacturing background (5S, Kaizen, Root Cause Analysis, etc.)
• Proficient in harness and wiring
Other Notes:
• Not looking for assembler candidates, only those with testing experience
