THE POSITION:

We are currently looking for an experienced Electrical Mechanic to join our team on a full-time, permanent basis.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair electrical and electro-mechanical components.
• Overhaul and maintain electro-mechanical equipment and electrical systems.
• Test, calibrate, and adjust components to meet performance and safety standards.
• Perform alignment and balancing of armatures or rotors, including welding, brazing, or soldering electrical connections as required.
• Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and maintenance manuals.
• Maintain accurate repair and inspection records in compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with technical teams to resolve complex electrical issues.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Completion of a college program in electrical mechanics or electronic technology is required
• At least 2 years of related experience as an Electrical Mechanics or a similar role
• Ability to read and interpret technical documents and schematics
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while ensuring precision in mechanical repairing and testing.

CONDITION OF EMPLOYMENT:

• Permanent, full-time position
• $36.00 per hour
• 30 hours of work per week
• Occasional overtime may be required for meeting critical deadlines. Overtime pay will apply after 44 hours of work per week and will be remunerated at one and a half time the regular pay rate
• Work location: 14 Strathearn Ave, Unit 25-23, Brampton, ON L6T 4P4.
