Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Electrical Maintenance Technician to join a stable, growing machinery manufacturing operation in Ripon, Wisconsin.

This is a hands-on role focused on maintaining, troubleshooting, installing, and improving electrical, electronic, PLC, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems used in manufacturing machinery. The successful candidate will play an important role in maintaining equipment reliability, minimizing downtime, and supporting safe and efficient production.

Key Responsibilities
Design, test, troubleshoot, and repair electrical circuits, PLC systems, electronic controls, and machine control systems.
Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems used in manufacturing equipment.
Install and test electrical and electronic controls on machinery using electrical schematics, blueprints, wiring diagrams, and technical documentation.
Install, maintain, test, repair, and adjust electrical fixtures, equipment, wiring, panels, breakers, conduit, and related electrical systems.
Install and maintain motors, transformers, lighting fixtures, and other electrical equipment in accordance with applicable diagrams and specifications.
Test and troubleshoot electrical circuits and equipment using appropriate meters, diagnostic tools, and testing instruments.
Inspect electrical equipment for potential hazards, required adjustments, and component replacement.
Disassemble electrical machinery and replace defective electrical and mechanical components as required.
Monitor electrical power and water distribution systems and perform basic mechanical repairs when needed.
Support preventive and corrective maintenance activities to maximize machine uptime and equipment reliability.
Document maintenance activities, parts usage, and completed work in the company’s CMMS.
Use computer systems to research parts, equipment information, and technical documentation.
Follow all applicable safety procedures and manufacturing standards.
Perform additional maintenance and technical duties as assigned by the Group Leader.
Required Qualifications
Associate degree in Electrical, Electromechanical, Industrial Maintenance, or a related technical field and 5+ years of relevant maintenance experience; equivalent hands-on experience may also be considered.
Strong troubleshooting skills involving electrical, PLC, electronic, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, blueprints, and technical drawings.
Experience using electrical testing and diagnostic equipment.
Basic computer skills, including the ability to research parts and enter maintenance information into a CMMS.
Strong mechanical aptitude and the ability to perform basic mechanical repairs.
Ability to work independently and effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Strong commitment to workplace safety and equipment reliability.
Physical Requirements

This position requires the ability to:

Stand and walk for extended periods.
Sit, stoop, bend, reach, and perform repetitive manual tasks.
Perform work requiring manual dexterity and coordination.
Lift up to 50 pounds, as required for the position.

Physical examination, including a baseline lift test of up to 50 pounds.
