Electrical Engineer Job

Develop and improve electrical designs submitted by equipment vendors and assist them in resolving issues to have the equipment comply with LS C&S USA’s internal guidelines as well as laws and regulations. Develop and design high-voltage power cables and circuit breaker test equipment, ensuring proper performance during production through equipment installation and testing. Locate, evaluate, and recommend outsourced electrical engineering services. Gather data from internal and external engineers to plan and to develop new engineering plan and testing electric equipment. Develop and repair programmable logic controllers in power cable production lines. Provide solution for electrical issues in production lines, including designing, manufacturing, installing and testing. Provide solution for AC/DC large capacity (over 500A) motors and operation and repair of motor drives. Report to the LS C&S USA’s management and Korean headquarters on significant engineering issues regarding production equipment R&D and maintenance activities. Perform maintenance of LS C&S USA’s proprietary electric engineering equipment and train other engineers and technicians on maintenance methods. Work cross-functionally with Finance, Operations, MIS, and other departments as required. Ensure protection of the company’s intellectual properties, confidential information, and other proprietary assets.

Master’s degree or equivalent in electrical engineering or a related engineering field with at least 2 years of relevant experience in the development, design, production, installation and testing of high voltage power cable and high voltage circuit breaker test equipment.
