Electrical Engineer (PE) - Orlando, FL Job

Matern Professional Engineering is looking for an Electrical Engineer (PE) at its Maitland, FL office, to be involved with design and project management, not limited to K-12 Schools and Higher Educational facilities; commercial office buildings, airports, government facilities and hospital/healthcare facilities.

Ideal candidate will have 8+ years experience in interior and exterior lighting, standby power systems, surge and lightning protection. Demonstrable experience with project management and team/discipline coordination. Must be able to multi-task and possess superior written and oral communication skills.

Word, Outlook and Excel familiarity. Must have strong working knowledge of Revit. Must be knowledgeable of National/FL Electrical codes. BS degree in Electrical Engineering required. This position requires an existing FL PE or ability to obtain from another state within 1 year.

Candidate must be able to pass criminal background checks, not limited to the Jessica Lunsford Act to be able to visit school sites and FBI for government buildings.
