- Design and develop electrical drawings, control systems, and prototypes using SolidWorks Electrical and AutoCAD, aligning with manufacturing and automation needs.
- Perform detailed calculations to define manufacturing standards, safety parameters, and specs for devices and installations; analyze voltage, current, and back EMF to improveperformance.
- Program, troubleshoot, and upgrade PLCs, VFDs, and motor controllers (e.g., Siemens, Allen Bradley, Mitsubishi, B&R) to ensure system reliability and efficiency.
- Apply Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT) concepts, data analytics, and emerging tech to monitor machine performance, optimize operations, and implement solutions like RFID tracking and robotic scanning.
- Conduct failure analysis (FMEA, DRBFM), identify root causes, and recommend corrective actions to enhance system reliability and safety.
- Build and test prototypes, evaluate assembly processes, and ensure compliance with design specs, safety, and operational standards during implementation.
- Collaborate with mechanical, production, and IT engineers to solve technical issues and implement design improvements in manufacturing.
- Train maintenance staff on new systems, creating SOPs for operation and troubleshooting to support adoption and sustainability.
- Lead and mentor teams on control system projects, managing installation, calibration, and testing while addressing infrastructure and technical challenges.
Requirements:
- Understanding of IoT Integration fundamentals, including controller communication, data collection and machine root cause analysis.
- Must be familiar with image processing techniques and algorithms, including object detection, error detection, and root cause analysis, for use in automation and quality assessment.
- Must be able to interpret electrical schematics, analyze control logic diagrams, and understand motor systems and their operations.
